About
Hi, I’m Paula DeMore.
I came to this work by way of personal and professional evolution. I’m a therapist, a lawyer, a mother, and a mid-life divorce survivor. I practice at the intersection of law and psychology, pulling from both fields to assist my clients. My experience perhaps makes me an atypical therapist, heart-centered by nature, but analytical and results-driven by training. I specialize in helping adolescents and young adults, high achievers, women, those who are traumatized, anxious, or depressed, people in transition, especially those who are divorcing or have divorced, and couples. I am passionate about transformation and committed to interventions grounded in cutting edge science.
Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and the awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.
